Panel Discussion on Arbitration and Litigation at the University of Banja Luka

Our Senior Partner, Stevan Dimitrijević, had the honor of being one of the panelists at the University of Banja Luka Faculty of Law, where YOUNG ICCA and the Faculty organized an inspiring panel discussion titled: “Arbitration and Litigation – Are They Friends or Foes?”

We are proud to have been sponsors of this event, which brought together a diverse audience and featured distinguished lawyer and academic panelists, Daniel Dosza from Hungary and Stefan Dobijević from Austria. The panelists engaged in a rich dialogue, exploring the complex dynamics between the judiciary and arbitration. Key topics included the risks and benefits of choosing between arbitration and litigation, as well as the practical challenges of cooperation between courts and arbitral tribunals during and after arbitration proceedings.

We extend our thanks to the moderators and organizers, Professor Zoran Vasiljevic, Senior Research and Teaching Assistant Irena Radić, Attorney at Law Dragana Nikolic, and Derviš Klokić. Their excellent moderation and organization significantly contributed to the success of the discussion. We thank everyone who attended and contributed to such an inspiring debate!

We are especially pleased that this event was organized for the first time in Banja Luka by YOUNG ICCA in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, highlighting our commitment to fostering discussion on important legal issues.

We look forward to continuing these essential conversations and collaborating on future initiatives.
